Its illustrations were painted by Japanese Ukiyo-e painter Kitano Tokinobu(北尾辰宣). \n Paintings included in this collection are: 「Painting of a Large Vessel(大船圖)」, Japanese ships; 「Painting of Joseon Envoy’s Departure(朝鮮國信使解纜圖)」, Tongshinsa who leaves Busan port; a painting of Tongshinsa march; and a painting of Mount Fuji with a phrase from Japanese monk Daeju(大智禪師)’s poem, ‘Exposed yourself alone between white clouds (魏然獨露白雲間)’ written below. 「Painting of Joseon People Writing Poems(朝鮮人乃詞畵)」, 「Painting of Joseon Musical Instruments(朝鮮樂器圖)」, and 「Painting of Joseon Weaponry(朝鮮武器圖)」 are placed at the top, and 「Painting of March of Joseon Envoys(朝鮮行列之圖)」 is placed at the bottom. The following page has 「False Name of Joseon(朝鮮之假名)」, 「Dongsuja(同數字)」, 「Tangiryupa(唐以呂波)」, and 「Joseon’s Two Cities and Eight Provinces(朝鮮兩京八道)」. The last page has 16 publishers’ names in Kyoto, Osaka, and Sunpu that jointly published this collection. \n Tongshinsa march painting as a merchandise appeared for the first time in Japan in 1682. From 1711, information on upcoming Tongshinsa visits arrived in Japan even before Tongshinsa’s arrival, and march paintings were produced before their arrival in Japan. 「Painting of Joseon Envoy’s Departure」 was one of those merchandises which were sold to the general public as a guide or informative reads in the runner up to Tongshinsa’s visit to Japan. Unlike other prints which specified a year of visit, this literature presents general information on Tongshinsa encompassing Joseon language, musical instruments, weaponry, flags, and geographic names. This collection shows how the general public perceived Tongshinsa at that time. \n The stamp of “松田學鷗” corroborates that this literature was one of collections of Matsuda Go(松田甲, 1864-1945), the first researcher on Korea-Japan relationship history."@en , "조선통신사 행렬에 관한 지식을 모아서 출간한 책이다. ; dcterms:alternative "조선인내빙행렬"@ko ; dcterms:date "[刊寫年未詳]" ; dcterms:dateSubmitted "2020-11-30"^^xsd:date ; dcterms:title "Joseoninraebinghaenglyeol"@en , "조선인래빙행렬"@ko , "朝鮮人來聘行列" ; schema:category eadlcollection:KoreaCollection , eadlcollection:NLK_Joseon_missions_to_Japan_Joseon_Tongsinsa , eadlcollection:NLK_Painting_of_Parade ; schema:datePublished "2020-11-30"^^xsd:date ; owl:sameAs ; foaf:thumbnail .
