유서필지 유서필지 Korea 2020-12-09 2020-12-09 국립중앙도서관 국립중앙도서관 chi [刊寫者未詳] [刊寫地未詳] 儒胥必知 [刊寫年未詳] Yuseo pilji National Library of Korea [刊寫年未詳] true National Library of Korea 儒胥必知 관청과 민간에서 사용된 공문서의 다양한 형식을 수록한 특수 백과사전이다. 유서필지(儒胥必知)는 ‘양반 출신의 선비(儒)와 중인 출신의 하급관리(胥)가 꼭 알아야 할 정보’ 라는 뜻으로 수요가 많아 목판본으로 제작 보급되었다. 공문서는 우리말을 한자의 뜻과 소리로 표현한 이두(吏讀)로 쓴 것이 대부분으로 신라 때부터 사용되었다. <유서필지>에 수록된 공문서는 종류별로 다음과 같다. (1) 상언(上言) : 양반으로부터 천민에 이르기까지 개인이 임금에게 올리는 공문서 [12종] (2) 격쟁원정(擊錚原情) : 개인이 억울한 일, 딱한 사정이 있을 때 임금이나 관청에 호소하는 공문서 [4종] (3) 소지(所志) : 산송[山訟, 무덤], 재산 분할 등 개인 사이의 다툼이 있을 때 이의 해결을 위해 관청에 소송을 제기하는 공문서 [24종] (4) 單子(단자) : 다른 사람에게 보낼 물품이나 어떠한 사실을 조목조목 적어 올리는 공문서 [3종] (5) 고목(告目) : 관청의 하급관리가 상급관리에게 공무를 보고하거나 문안을 올릴 때의 공문서 [8종] (6) 문권(文券) : 땅·집·노비 등의 소유권, 매매, 양도, 저당 등을 증명하는공문서 [6종] (7) 통문(通文) : 민간단체나 개인이 같은 종류의 기관 또는 관계가 있는 인사 등에게 공동의 관심사를 통지하던 공문서 [1종] This is a collection of various official document forms used in government offices and the civil sector. Yuseo pilji (儒胥必知), meaning “essential knowledge for scholars (儒) of the aristocracy (yangban) and petty officials (胥) of the bureaucratic middle class (jungin),” was printed with woodblock and distributed widely to meet the high demand. Most official documents were written in idu (吏讀), which is a writing system transcribing Korean words through their equivalent meaning and sound in Chinese characters. The followings are the types of official documents in Yuseo pilji: (1) Sang-eon (上言, petition): An official document submitted to the king by individuals, ranging from the aristocratic class (yangban) to the base class (cheonmin) [12 types] (2) Gyeokjaeng wonjeong (擊錚原情, appeal): An official document submitted to the king or a government office by individuals to appeal their unfair experience or pitiable circumstances [4 types] (3) Soji (所志, letter of complaint): An official document to file a complaint to a government office to solve any disputes occurring between individuals including problems regarding the construction of a grave and division of property [24 types] (4) Danja (單子, brief): An official document to report items to be sent to others or a certain facts in detail [3 types] (5) Gomok (告目, report): An official document submitted by low-level officials to higher-level officials to report official affairs or greetings [8 types] (6) Mun-gwon (文券, certificate): An official document to prove the ownership, sales, transfer, and security of land, houses, slaves, etc. [6 types] (7) Tongmun (通文, circular): An official document written by a civil organization or an individual to notify common matters of interest to similar organizations or related figures [1 type] [刊寫年未詳] Yuseo pilji 55張: 四周單邊 半郭 22.1 x 14 cm, 12行22字 註雙行, 內向二葉花紋魚尾; 28.8 x 19.0 cm KOL000025778
