This collection of writings by the early-Joseon civil official Kim Jong-jik (金宗直, 1431-1492, penname Jeompiljae) contains a piece of writing on Yeonghoru Pavilion (映湖樓) in Andong. For a long time, Yeonghoru was considered as one of the representative pavilions in the region to the south of the Han River, along with Yeongnamnu Pavilion (嶺南樓) in Miryang, Chokseongnu Pavilion (矗石樓) in Jinju, and Gwanghallu Pavilion (廣寒樓) in Namwon. When the Red Turban Rebellion broke out during the reign of King Gongmin of Goryeo, the king fled with his subjects and often hiked up to Yeonghoru to soothe his loneliness during the refuge. The hanging plaque of Yeonghoru is known to have been written personally by King Gongmin at that time.

조선전기 문신 김종직(金宗直, 1431-1492)의 시문집으로, 안동의 누각인 영호루에 대한 글이 실려 있다. 오래전부터 안동의 영호루는 밀양의 영남루(嶺南樓), 진주의 촉석루(矗石樓), 남원의 광한루(廣寒樓)와 함께 한강 이남의 대표적인 누각으로 불리어져 왔다. 고려 공민왕(恭愍王) 때 홍건적의 난이 일어나서 왕이 복주로 백관을 거느리고 피란하였다. 피란 중에 왕이 적적한 마음을 달래기 위해 올랐던 곳으로 알려져 있으며 공민왕이 직접 영호루(映湖樓)라 쓴 편액이 전해지고 있다.
