The creation of this book, in print in 1796(Jeongjo 20), three years after Lim died, is thanks to Lim’s little brother Lim, Jeong-Ju and little brother-in-law Shin, Gwang-Woo. She didn’t hide her wish to publish her book, saying that “I knew the existence of Confucianism study from an early age. After some years, like meat pleases your mouth, study pleased me, so I couldn’t be away from it.” At age 65, she sent her writings to her brother to publish her book. \n The first half of this book is comprised of 2 Jeon(傳), 11 Non(論), 2 Bal(跋), 6 Seol(說). The second half has 4 Jam(箴), 3 Myeong(銘), 1 Chan(讚), 3 funeral orations, In(引), and 2 Confucian classics. There are a total of 35 works, yet noticeably with no poem. Instead, she extensively explored original Confucianism theses, women biography, personalia of saints, and other subject matters which were deemed as men’s dominant subject matters in writing. Her writings became one of popular reads, and showed a trailblazing example to other women who wished to walk the same path with her."@en ; dcterms:alternative "윤지당유고"@ko ; dcterms:date "1796" ; dcterms:dateSubmitted "2020-11-30"^^xsd:date ; dcterms:issued "1796" ; dcterms:title "Yoon-Ji-Dang’s Posthumous Works"@en , "允摯堂遺稿" , "윤지당유고"@ko ; schema:category eadlcollection:KoreaCollection , eadlcollection:NLK_Anthologies_by_Women_Authors , eadlcollection:NLK_Women_in_the_Joseon_era ; schema:datePublished "2020-11-30"^^xsd:date ; owl:sameAs ; foaf:thumbnail .
