Her name is Cho-Hui(楚姬), and her courtesy name is Gyeong-Beon(景樊), yet she addressed herself as Nan-Sol-Heon. \n Heo, a daughter of the most celebrated author of that time, Heo, Yeop, and a sister of Heo, Bong and Heo, Gyun, grew up in a literary family. Even at the age of 8, she surprised the world with her early work, Inscriptions on the Ridge Pole of the White Jade Pavilion in the Gwanghan Palace(廣寒殿白玉樓上樑文). She also had a deep knowledge in Taoism thanks to her family’s large collection of Taoism books. \n Heo died at 27, and majority of her works were burnt following her will. Fortunately, Heo, Gyun compiled Nan-Sol-Heon’s writings and published this book in 1608(Seonjo 41), which contains 210 poems, 1 Bu(賦, sentence style), and 2 proses, along with a preface written by Ming scholar Zhu Zhifan and Liang Younian. This book was published in Japan as well, in 1711."@en ; dcterms:alternative "난설헌집"@ko ; dcterms:date "[刊寫年未詳]" ; dcterms:dateSubmitted "2020-11-30"^^xsd:date ; dcterms:title "Anthology of Nan-Sol-Heon"@en , "蘭雪軒集" , "난설헌집"@ko ; schema:category eadlcollection:KoreaCollection , eadlcollection:NLK_Women_in_the_Joseon_era , eadlcollection:NLK_Anthologies_by_Women_Authors ; schema:datePublished "2020-11-30"^^xsd:date ; owl:sameAs ; foaf:thumbnail .
