Kim, Jeong-Hui(金正喜, 1786-1856)’s semi-cursive calligraphy for column decoration. His pennames include Chusa(秋史) and Wandang(阮堂). This is one of his most celebrated calligraphy pieces, which was boldly written on Chinese red paper with thick ink. 추사(秋史) 김정희(金正喜, 1786-1856)가 쓴 행서 대련(對聯) 글씨이며, 완당(阮堂)은 그의 또 다른 호이다. 붉은 색 중국 종이에 먹을 되게 갈아 힘차게 썼다. 완당이라는 서명 아래 ‘金正喜印’과 ‘阮堂’의 낙관이 찍혀 있으나 종이 색깔과 인주의 빛깔이 비슷해서 잘 보이지 않는다.
추사의 글씨 중에서도 걸작에 속하는 작품이다.
