Abstract

Old print edition. Shuzon Edition. Prints published by Tiantai Shuzon at Kyoodo in Kitano, Kyoto, from the last year of the Keichō period to Kan’ei 1 are categorized into Shuzon Edition. Its examples include scriptures and Tiantai doctrine document that comprise tripitaka. Shuzon’s year of birth and death, and detailed biographies have not yet been known. Woodblocks believed to have been used for the Shuzon Edition are now housed in Enryaku-ji of Mount Hiei. 『Kenkairon』is Saichō’s declaration of southern Hinayana Buddhism’s declaration from Mahayana Buddhism of Mount Hiei, which later built a foundation for Japanese Tiantai. 古活字版。宗存版。慶長末年から寛永初年にかけて京都北野経王堂において天台僧宗存が刊行したものを宗存版と称している。宗存については生没年、経歴など未詳。刊行されたものは大蔵経中の経典と天台宗の教義書などである。宗存版に使用されたと推定されている木製の活字は現在、比叡山延暦寺が所蔵する。『顕戒論』は最澄が南都仏教の小乗戒に対して比叡山における大乗菩薩戒の独立を宣言したもので、日本天台宗成立の基礎となった書。展示本は下巻16丁表「聲」の字が転倒して印刷されている。「寶玲文庫」（フランク・ホーレー）の印記。(ja)
