Abstract

Old print edition. Known to be the oldest printed edition with an imprint; ‘December 24, Bunroku 1595’ is recorded on the last page. This collection is the only complete prints recovered up to now. The same movable types with this collection were used to publish 『Hokke Gengi Jo』, by Monk Niho in Honkokuji in December 1595 (same print year). 『The Variorum Edition of Four Tiantai Teachings』is the variorum edition of of Tiantai doctrine document 『Four Tiantai Teachings』.(en)

古活字版。巻末に「文禄四乙未暦十一月二十四日」とあり、刊記のある現存最古の古活字版とされる。現在当館のもの以外に伝本が知られていない。これと同じ活字を用いたものに同年(1595)12月本国寺の僧日保が開版した『法華玄義序』がある。『天台四教儀集解』は天台宗の教義書『天台四教儀』の注釈書。(ja)
