This is a handcopied book about all the rituals and ceremonies operated by the ritual department, categorized into fortune, celebration, guest-serving, military, and tragic events. This was written by Yu Eui Yang in the king’s order in reference of “Chun-gwan-ji” and “Guk-jo-o-rye-tonh-pyeon” in King Jeongjo 12(1788), in total of 60 books and 96 volumes. The book depicts all the rituals and the history of them from early Joseon up to King Jeongjo era controlled by the ritual department, and includes detailed policies, processes, containing elements, and the meanings to help the reader understand every ritual and ceremony happened in Joseon era. It does not have the editor’s name on it, but the book “Gun-seo-pyo-gi” mentioned that this handcopied book series was edited by Yu Eui Yang.(en)
조선후기 정조(正祖) 12년(1788) 무렵 유의양(柳義養)이 왕명을 받아 『춘관지(春官志)』와 『국조오례통편(國朝五禮通編)』 등을 바탕으로 예조(禮曹)가 관장하는 모든 예제와 예무를 길(吉)·가(嘉)·빈(賓)·군(軍)·흉(凶)의 오례로 나누어 정리하여 편찬한 필사본 96권 60책이다.
이 책은 예조에 소관되는 각종 예제와 연혁 등을 조선 초부터 정조 초까지 서술하고, 이에 관한 고실(故實)·의주(儀註)·도설·도식·원의(原儀)·속의(續儀)·보의(補儀)·증의(增儀) 등을 포괄적으로 각각 붙여서 조선시대에 시행된 모든 예제를 일목요연하게 이해할 수 있게 하고 있다. 편자에 대한 기록이 없으나 『군서표기(群書標記)』의 「명찬무신편(命撰戊申編)」조에 “春官通考 96卷 寫本”을 설명하는 가운데 편자가 유의양(柳義養)으로 밝혀져 있다.(ko)
