This collection of writings by scholar Jo Geung-seop (曺兢燮, 1873-1933, penname Amseo) of late Joseon includes a poem portraying Nongwoljeong Pavilion (弄月亭). Nongwoljeong is a jeongja built by Bak Myeong-bu (朴明傅, 1571-1639), a provincial governor in King Seonjo’s reign, after retiring from his political life. Nongwoljeong, located in Hamyang in Gyeongsangnam-do, is one of the jeongja in a valley in Hwarim-dong and its name means “teasing the moon.” As its name suggests, it is an ideal location to enjoy the moon and the arts amidst a refreshing breeze while the moonlight flows down onto the water at night.(en)
조선말기 학자 조긍섭(曺兢燮, 1873-1933)의 문집으로, 농월정(弄月亭)을 노래한 부분이 나온다. 경남 함양의 농월정은 화림 동 계곡의 정자 가운데 하나로 ‘달을 희롱한다’는 뜻을 지닌다. 그 이름처럼 밤이면 달빛이 물아래로 흘러 맑은 바람 쐬며 달과 교감하며 풍류를 즐기기 좋은 장소이다. 농월정은 선조 때 관찰사를 지낸 지족당(知足堂) 박명부(朴明傅, 1571-1639)가 정계에서 은퇴한 뒤 지은 정자이다.
