- Abstract
- The Joseon Dynasty has collected every document that has been produced by the royal court and written down by history officers (史草). These cover from the first king Te Jo all the way to 25th king Cheol Jong, for 472 years. And they also established Annals Office to collect and edit the documents in chronological order after every king’s death. Sometimes they hand-picked some good deeds of the kings as examples to pass on to the descendants. (en)
朝鮮王朝は、1代の太祖から25代の哲宗に至るまでの472年間の歴史を網羅して残した。朝鮮は、朝廷で日常的に生産された文書と史官が書いた史記草稿の全てを集めておいた。そして王の死後に「実録庁」を設置し、それまで集めておいた記>録を日付ごとに整理して本として集成した。また、歴代の王たちの政治活動のうちから模範となるような事実を選んで記述したものを記録として残し、これを後世に広く伝えようとした。(ja)
조선왕조는 1대 태조부터 25대 철종에 이르기까지 472년간의 역사를 망라하여 남겼는데 조선은 평소 조정에서 생산된 문서와 사관이 쓴 사초(史草) 모두 모아두었다. 그리고 임금의 사후에 ‘실록청’을 설치해 그간 모아둔 기록을 날짜별로 정리해 책으로 묶었다. 또한 역대 임금들의 정치 활동 가운데서 모범이 될 만한 사실을 뽑아 서술하여 기록으로 남겨 이를 후대에 널리 알리고자 하였다.(ko)
